OIST Internship stands for the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. The OIST Fall 2024 Internship is currently open for the applicant from all over the world. This is a Fully funded internship in Japan for international students. The OIST Internship is open during October 1st, 2024 – March 31st, 2025. Any student from any country can apply for this prestigious internship program. The Internship is open to Bachelors, Masters, PhD Students, enrolled students, and those who have recently graduated.
IELTS or TOEFL scores are not required from applicants. The internship typically spans 2 to 6 months, with a usual duration of 10 to 12 weeks. The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) will cover airfare, accommodation, stipend, meals, and provide visa support. Financial Compensation:
- Internship Allowance: JPY 2,400 per day on working days.
- Commuting Allowance: Provided in the form of an OIST Shuttle Bus Pass.
- Travel Expenses: Covered with one direct round-trip air ticket.
- Accommodation: Furnished apartment, either on or off campus.
- Visa Support: OIST will aid in obtaining the necessary visa, assist with insurance procedures, and guide through local registration.

- IELTS or TOEFL test is not required.
- Applicants who are enrolled in a Graduate Degree program can apply.
- Applicants who are enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree program can also apply.
- Applicants who have recently graduated can also apply.
